The 13th Edition of the "Chamber Trade Fair" with the theme - Industrial Linkage Empowers Agriculture opened on the December 18th at the Tamukkam Ground, organized by Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce. The inaugural function was hold by Collector N. Mathivanan.
The chamber president V. Neethi Mohan said that, this year's theme is "Industrial linkage empowers Agriculture".Thirty percentage of the 300 stalls have been allotted for agro-based industries.
A special feature of the fair is "Saved to be saved".
This is to encourage conservation of water resources, electricity, fuel and management of food.
Prizes worth a total of Rs 1 lakh would be awarded to 16 students with the best models kept on display between 25 and 29 December.
The Entry fee is, always, 10 Rs and you have a special coupon on your ticket to try to win a prize, every day.
When you enter, you're surrounded by advertisements of the exhibitors.
All the colors fall on you, you are submerged by the crowd but, when inside, your way is easy to follow.
